Rhode Island Hospital names Senior Vice President and Chief Quality Officer

Cathy Duquette, PhD, RN, CPHQ has been named Senior Vice President and Chief Quality Officer for Lifespan's Rhode Island Hospital effective September 1, 2010. In this position, Dr. Duquette will concentrate on the areas of quality, patient safety and patient experience, as well as case management and social work services.

Currently the President of the Rhode Island State Association of Nurses, the local chapter of the American Nurses Association, Cathy is a member of both RIAHQ and NAHQ. She also is a past president of the Hospital Association of Rhode Island (HARI). Proud to have her in our association, we congratulate Dr. Cathy Duquette on her promotion!
